#33, I LOVED A Discovery of Witches. Did you know it is book one of a trilogy? the other two are: Shadow of Night and The Book of Life, neither of which I have read yet.
ReplyDeleteI have the trilogy and re-read it regularly. Did you know a fourth book comes out early next year?!? Woohoo!
DeleteA fourth book? Do you know what the title might be? I have to get busy with the reading of the others..
DeleteThe Serpents Mirror, River, AND a television series based on the books is in the works! Ms. Harkness also has a new website up: http://deborahharkness.com/
DeleteSmiling broadly here.
ReplyDeleteI have not long ago read A Discovery of Witches too - and had to read the other two as well.
Like I told River, another one is coming out next year... can't wait to see what happens with the twins!
Deletehaha not a bad talent to have to keep nuts away. my hand writing sucks all the live long day
ReplyDeleteIt seems to rub off later though.
DeleteI agree about voices. If the voice is not right, then nothing will happen for me. I do like accents though. Bronx accent works for me, as does the deep south.
ReplyDeleteI don't care for accents at all, nope... not me.
DeleteYou have a talent for not really answering questions! I salute you.
ReplyDeleteBut but but...
DeleteI answered the first one quite thoroughly!
I've been called a lot of things in my life -- "Otto" is one of the nicer ones, hahahahaha! Loved reading all your answers. Did you know they're filming a sequel to "Trainspotting"? I believe they've reassembled the original cast and the new movie is a sort of "whatever happened to . . . ?"
ReplyDeleteA Trainspotting sequel??? Oh my stars and bars!
DeleteWow, now I know a few things about you. I also love the sound of water, any water.
ReplyDeleteIt's such a peaceful sound.
Delete#18 - OMB, that sounds fabu! did you make it or buy it somewhere?
ReplyDeleteI made it, it's a pretty simple recipe. Chopped chicken, pecans and Granny Smith apple and small cubes of sharp cheddar. Half mayo and half sour cream, a squirt of lime juice, 1/2 tsp. honey (or more for a bigger batch) and a shake each of ginger, cinnamon and black pepper.
DeleteEasy peasy! (If I'm feeling really decadent I add a bit of crisp bacon to the mix.)
DAYUM! you follow me, I follow you...
Delete:)
We could end up chasing one another around in circles, lol.
DeleteJacqueline, love this type of post. Such fun reading your answers. Feisty!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant to hear from you Jean, hope you're doing well!
DeleteCarrot Cake!! Yes!
ReplyDeleteI share. ;-)
